Statement of the bureau

of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly

 about the arrest of M Aziz DWEIK

President of the Palestinian legislatif Council

 

    Following the arrest of the Palestinian legislatif Council President, M Aziz DWEIK, the Bureau of the EMPA expresses his firm indignation in front of this act which constitutes a real reach to democratic values expressed by the Palestinian People.

   The EMPA Bureau reminds that a certain number of the palestinian legislatif council representatives just as Israeli Parliamentarians participate in EMPA activities .

   EMPA Bureau demands from Israel authorities the immediate liberation of President DWEIK.
